Voice rooms setup

Members join a lobby and get a voice room of their own, which disappears when it empties.

Configure#

  1. Choose the lobby voice channel members join to get a room.
  2. Choose the category where temporary rooms are created.
  3. Turn Voice rooms on, save, and join the lobby to test it.

Owner commands#

  • /lock and /unlock: stop or allow new members joining.
  • /rename: 2 to 90 characters.
  • /limit: 0 to 99 members (0 means no limit).
  • /kick: disconnect a member from your room.
  • /transfer: hand ownership to someone in the room.

Handover and cleanup#

When the owner leaves, ownership passes to someone still in the room. Empty temporary rooms are deleted. Channels BotStacked did not create are never deleted.

Permissions#

View Channel, Connect, Speak, Manage Channels, Move Members and Manage Roles in the lobby and the room category. Manage Roles is needed to lock rooms and hand over ownership.
